Introduction - How the Film Industry Affects The Economy

Overtime, the United States film Industry has played one of the major roles in influencing our economy. People really only think about the paid actors, directors, and revenue that the film industry makes off of selling DVDs and playing their film on the big screen, but there is much more to the industry than its producers and directors. It is an industry that creates millions of dollars in jobs and in what it produces. The economic factor that the movie industry plays in the United States cannot be ignored. Films are also a part of economic growth due to the ticket sales, merchandise that is sold, and also the concessions.
